Bromley Adult Education College has a well deserved reputation for offering good quality part time adult education courses. These are taught by enthusiastic, experienced and well qualified tutors. Some courses lead to a qualification whilst others are designed to help you acquire new knowledge and develop new skills. From archery to yoga, counselling to silversmithing you really will find something of interest to you.

Summer courses at Bromley Adult Education College

The Summer term started on Monday 15 April, 2013 and we are delighted with the high number of new learners joining the classes. There are still many opportunities to enrol in new provision with a large number of courses starting during the months of May and June.

In addition BAEC is offering a two week intensive Summer School from 8th – 19th July 2013. On offer are qualification courses in Understanding Business Enterprise, Computing, Job Search & Interview Skills and CV writing. Also on offer are First Steps courses in Beauty, ECDL, GCSE English & Maths and British Sign Language. For the more creative learner the Summer School also offers intensive courses in Etching & Printmaking, Drawing and Painting, Jewellery and Pattern Cutting. For those interested in learning a new language we have intensive courses in basic French and Spanish.

The Great Bromley Sewing Courses

Have you been inspired by the BBC programme the Great Sewing Bee? We have a range of NEW short courses that will help you build up your skills so you can create your own projects with confidence under the guidance of our expert tutors. Helping you get into work

We have lots of courses that can help you get work related skills. If you are in receipt of JSA or ESA (WRAG), you may be eligible for free training, in subjects such as IT, Beauty, Retail, Customer Services, Care Work etc etc! Download the leaflet here.

Work Club is held at the Kentwood Centre in Penge, 9-1 every Monday and 10-2 every Tuesday. Ideal if you are looking for work and need help deciding on a course, help with your CV, or to do some online job searching. Just come along. Special events often planned, call in for details.
