Food and Wine

We are offering a super selection of cookery courses for all cooks or cooks in waiting! Cookery classes are arranged in levels to help guide you in your choice of class.

Levels

Beginners: these courses will cover basic techniques and beyond. Suitable for those with little or no experience, needing detailed help and confidence building.
Intermediate: introducing new techniques using a wide range of ingredients. Developing a greater knowledge and appreciation of food.
Pre-advanced: courses suitable for confident cooks who have sound cookery skills and who wish to extend their repertoire, increase their skills and improve their presentation.

Added costs

You will need to bring your own ingredients and a small amount of equipment. Expect to spend approx. £12.00 per session on ingredients.  NOTE - some specialist ingredients may work out more expensive.

Cake Decorating and Sugarcraft

Would you like to create beautiful cakes? We offer a wide range of courses at all levels throughout the year including some short one-day Saturdays.

Sugarcraft for Special Occasions including Ways with Paste, Ideas with Paste, Spring & Autumn Sugar Flowers and many more.

Wine Appreciation

Come and find out how to enjoy wines. Courses will cover information on styles of wines, grape varieties, food and wine matching and much more. 

Food Hygiene

Under the Food Safety Regulations, food must be handled and maintained in a hygienic way at all stages. We offer a nationally recognised award in Food Safety, providing essential information for those working with food, even on a voluntary basis. CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.
