Counselling

If you are interested in gaining basic counselling skills to help and support others either in a voluntary or employed capacity the Level 2 Counselling Skills qualifications available may interest you.

Level 2 Certificate in Introduction to Counselling Skills (ISCK-L2) and Certificate in Counselling Skills (CSK-L2)

CPCAB Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies

This qualification is for students who have already acquired some counselling skills and now want to continue their training. It will not teach you to be a counsellor, but it will prepare you to undertake workplace experience as a trainee counsellor.

Psychology

Bromley Adult Education College offers a range of non accredited courses including one-day Saturday courses.  These include: Communications and Relationships, Psychology of Emotions, The Journey of Life: A Psychological Perspective, and more.

Look out for GCSE Psychology from September 2009.

Birkbeck's Faculty of Continuing Education in partnership with Bromley Adult Education College offers part-time Higher Education  Psychology modules. The modules are accredited, lead to University of London Extra Mural Certificates & Diplomas, and all offer CATS points.
