Lip Reading

BAEC offers occasional lip reading courses at  Poverest and Widmore Centres.

Sign Language

BAEC offer short and year-long courses in Sign Language, all of which are accredited with Signature (formally CACPD). The qualifications are designed to enable candidates to communicate with deaf people in British Sign Language on a range of topics that involve simple everyday language use. Course fees include the cost of assessment. Daytime courses are availabel at the Kenwood and the Widmore Centre, evening at Kentwood only.
