What is Train2Gain?
Train to Gain is funding for businesses and individuals (if the candidates meet the criteria). It is designed to help businesses succeed by ensuring that staff have the right skills to do the best job. Employers are increasingly investing in staff development and reaping benefits that include improved staff confidence and motivation, higher retention rates, increased productivity and higher customer satisfaction. For businesses, getting the right skills advice is essential to choosing the best and most appropriate training. Train to Gain helps you to do this because it is flexible, responsive and offered at a time and place to suit businesses.
Who is this funded by and who is eligible?
Train to Gain attracts funding from the government for those wishing to study for their first full Level 2 and some Level 3 qualifications. If you have staff who do not hold a level 2 equivalent qualification (5 GCSE's or above) then they may well be eligible for Train2Gain funding.
What training is included?
There are a variety of NVQ's available, from Health & Social Care to ICT.
Who provides the training?
Train2Gain training is provided by various reputable training providers, all government approved - so you can be sure of quality. Each provider may offer you something a little different, so it can be confusing. However, Bromley Adult Education College is part of a London Adult College consortium, bringing the best Adult Education providers together to make the solution simplier. We are part of traininglondon, see www.traininglondon.net for more information and to register your details.
